Black Stars coach Otto Addo has hinted that Andre Ayew's return to the national team could depend on his ability to secure a club and deliver strong performances.Ayew, currently a free agent after his contract with Le Havre ended, has missed the last two call-ups for Ghana's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.He was not included in the squad for the previous victories against Mali and the Central African Republic in June this year.On Thursday, Otto Addo once again announced his squad for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers, with the 34-year-old Ayew absent.When asked about Ayew’s continued absence, Addo emphasised that the door isn’t completely shut for the experienced forward."Andre Ayew is a good player, but at the moment, he is not here. He doesn't have a club, but nobody knows the future," Addo explained.The coach suggested that if Ayew secures a club and impresses, particularly by scoring 20 goals, he could earn his way back into the squad."If he gets a club and performs and scores 20 goals, maybe he can return because we are building something for the future," Addo added.Ghana will face Angola on September 5...
