Collinson Theophilus joins Hearts of Oak from Mighty Jets
Hearts of Oak have officially signed Collinson Theophilus from lower-tier side Tudu Mighty Jets, adding the talented player to their squad ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.The club announced the transfer on Thursday, August 29, welcoming Theophilus to the Phobian family. "Collinson Theophilus is now officially a Phobian! He joins us from Tudu Mighty Jets. Welcome to the family!" Hearts of Oak shared on their social media platforms.Theophilus is one of several new additions to the Hearts of Oak squad as the club prepares for the new season. Other new signings include Ramzy Yussif, Mawuli Wayo, Hussein Mohammed, Kwabena Boateng, Isshak Saani Mohammed, and Yahaya Draman.Theophilus will now join his new teammates as they continue their preseason preparations. Currently, the Phobians are on a preseason tour in Togo, where they recently defeated Togolese side Semassi 3-1 in a friendly match. Goals from Asamoah Boateng, Kwabena Boateng, and Isaac Frimpong secured the win.Hearts of Oak are set to play the Togo National U20 team on August 31st at the Stade Municipal de Lomé as part of their final preparations for the upcoming season.
