Ghana coach Otto Addo has addressed concerns over the Black Stars' tendency to concede late goals, which affected their recent performances in the 4-3 win over Central African Republic and the 1-0 defeat to Angola.In both matches, Ghana experienced late-game challenges, with the most recent defeat ending their long unbeaten run at Kumasi’s Baba Yara Stadium.Addo, however, remains optimistic and focused on addressing these issues ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Niger in Morocco."We have a large squad of 34 players, and we need to manage injuries and other challenges. It’s not easy, but it’s a situation every team faces," Addo said.He acknowledged that recent games have shown there are no easy matches and emphasized the importance of learning from these experiences.Addo highlighted the need for clinical finishing and emphasized the role of the bench in influencing the outcome of games."We’ve worked on being more clinical in front of goal and addressing the lessons from the Angola game," he added.Addo is confident the team will apply these lessons and show their strengths on the pitch.
