Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has voiced his frustration following repeated criticisms from Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, during the team's departure to Morocco for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Niger.The incident took place at Prempeh I International Airport, where Kudus was taking photos with fans and airport staff. Appiah Stadium began criticising Kudus, accusing him of underperforming for the national team compared to his club form.At first, Kudus attempted to ignore the remarks and continued engaging with fans. However, as the criticisms persisted, he eventually responded by questioning Appiah Stadium, asking if he valued the goals more than Kudus did.Despite efforts from airport staff and onlookers to stop the criticisms, Appiah Stadium continued with his remarks, leaving Kudus visibly frustrated. The midfielder then left to rejoin his teammates for the trip to Morocco, where the Black Stars will face Niger on Monday, September 9, 2024.In a separate video, Appiah Stadium was seen praising Jordan Ayew while advising him to smile more on the pitch.Ghana heads into the crucial qualifier aiming for redemption after their 1-0 loss to Angola in their opening match.
