Black Stars coach Otto Addo has admitted that Ghana's 1-0 defeat to Angola in the opening game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers took a significant emotional toll on both the team and himself. The loss ended Ghana’s 24-year unbeaten run at the Baba Yara Stadium, with Angola’s Felicio Joao Milson scoring a late winner following a defensive lapse.Reflecting on the impact of the defeat, Addo revealed that the team struggled mentally but has since recovered and is focused on bouncing back against Niger."Everybody was down, so I think the first part was surely mental," Otto Addo said. We’ve worked on both our defensive and offensive play, and now I think we are ready for tomorrow [Monday]."Ghana will face Niger in their second Group F match at the Stade Municipal de Berkane, Morocco, at 3:00 PM...
