The Brands Manager of Nations FC Kennedy Boakye-Ansah has expressed his desire to maintain the club's status in the Ghana Premier League at the end of the current season.The Abrankese-based outfit played out a goalless draw against Bechem United in their league opener at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday.Despite creating numerous scoring opportunities, Nations FC were unable to find the back of the net, resulting in a draw.Speaking to the media, Boakye-Ansah revealed that the club's primary objective is to avoid relegation and secure their Premier League status by the end of the campaign."We are taking it game after game. We got one point in our first game of the season which not too bad of a result for us," Boakye-Ansah stated. He added, "Our ambition is to remain in the league and if the opportunity comes for us to win the league, we will grab it."Nations FC will travel to Wenchi to face newly promoted Young Apostles in their next match. Young Apostles are aiming to bounce back after their 2-0 defeat against Nsoatreman FC in their opening game.
