Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has issued a strong warning to his players to avoid underestimating their opponents as they prepare to face Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.The match is set to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5, 2024.In a recent interview with Max TV, Addo emphasised the strength of the Angolan team, stating, “It is also very important for the spectators that we do not underestimate our opponents. Angola has a very strong team.”He highlighted that Angola boasts players competing in top leagues, including La Liga, the English Champions League, and Portugal's Primeira Liga.Addo stressed the importance of maintaining Ghana's style of play and being defensively compact to thwart Angola's attacking threats. “We need to be fully aware not to underestimate them.
