GFA President Kurt Okraku commissions new Betpawa-funded artificial pitch

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku commissioned a newly constructed standard artificial football pitch at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.The pitch, funded by Betpawa, marks the completion of the first phase of a broader project aimed at enhancing football infrastructure in Ghana.The commissioning took place ahead of the 30th Ordinary Congress of the GFA on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.President Okraku emphasised the significance of the modern astroturf in driving the growth and development of football in Ghana. He noted that the facility would play a crucial role in the GFA's broader developmental strategy.Betpawa's investment in the project reflects a commitment to supporting Ghanaian football at all levels. The first phase focused on the construction of the pitch, while phase two saw the addition of a changing room, a VIP stand, and another stand for fans.The Betpawa Park is part of an ambitious master plan for the GFA Technical Centre.
