Salzburg sporting director hails Edmund Baidoo as 'exciting young talent' following transfer

FC Red Bull Salzburg’s Sporting Director, Bernhard Seonbuchner, has expressed his enthusiasm following the club’s acquisition of Ghanaian forward Edmund Baidoo from Norwegian side Sogndal IL.The 18-year-old, who has signed a contract with the Austrian champions until June 30, 2029, is seen as a key addition to Salzburg’s roster of promising young players.Speaking about the signing, Seonbuchner highlighted Baidoo’s impressive performances in Norway, where he scored nine goals and provided seven assists in just 22 matches.He believes that Baidoo’s blend of speed and technique will make him a valuable asset to Salzburg’s attacking options."We were able to sign a very exciting young player in Edmund Baidoo, who has already impressed in first-team football despite his young age," Seonbuchner said."He has a good combination of speed and technique.
