Black Stars will get better – Ex-Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila

Former Ghana international Rashid Sumaila is confident the Black Stars will overcome their challenges with the right approach. Ghana, who are four-time champions of the AFCON succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Sudan at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya last Tuesday.The result leave the Black Stars on the verge of failing to qualify for the CAF’s biggest tournament for the first time since 2004.In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, the former Kotoko defender expressed deep concerns about the teams’ recent struggles and has therefore called on the leadership of Ghana football to fix the problems at hand than to apportion blames.“We’ve lost whether we like it or not, so I think it will be prudent for us to put it behind us and find solutions to our problems” he said.Sumaila went on to express his utmost believe in the Black Stars resurgence and said, “We will continue to struggle if we keep apportioning blames than finding solutions.
