Former Ghana international Derek Boateng has placed the blame on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the Confederation of African Football (CAF)’s decision to ban the Black Stars from hosting matches due to poor stadium conditions.According to Boateng, the GFA has neglected its responsibility to ensure quality pitches for national games, particularly after the Baba Yara Stadium was banned over its substandard pitch.With widespread criticism aimed at the government and the National Sports Authority (NSA), Boateng insisted that the GFA must take accountability for providing suitable infrastructure for the national team.Speaking to 3Sports, Boateng said, "The GFA needs to wake up and do something because it is their job to make sure we have good pitches.
