A court in Accra has granted former Ghana Black Stars player Samuel Inkoom bail in the sum of GHC100,000 with two sureties.The bail conditions also require each surety to have a minimum monthly income of GHC5,000.Inkoom is facing allegations of visa fraud after allegedly taking $4,000 from a woman under the pretext of securing a US visa for her client. He has denied the allegations.According to the prosecution, Inkoom met the complainant in December 2023 and claimed to have connections in the travel industry. He allegedly promised to secure a US visa within six weeks for a fee of $4,000.The case has been adjourned to January 22, 2025, and Inkoom is required to appear in court on that date.Samuel Inkoom began his career with Sekondi Hasaacas in Ghana before moving to Asante Kotoko. Inkoom gained international recognition after joining Swiss club Basel in 2009. He also played for clubs like Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and Antalyaspor.Inkoom made his debut for the Ghana national team in 2008 and went on to earn 46 caps, scoring one goal. He represented Ghana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
