The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will begin an assessment exercise on Saturday, January 4, 2025, for 40 promising Under-15 girls at the Catholic Pastoral Center in Sunyani, Brong Ahafo Region.Led by Coach Joyce Boatey-Agyei, the six-day camp seeks to identify talents to strengthen the current U15 national team, which recently clinched the WAFU Zone B U15 Girls Championship in Niger."We're excited to see the talent and potential of these young girls," Coach Boatey-Agyei remarked. "Our goal is to find players who can strengthen our current team and help us achieve success in future tournaments."The camp will evaluate players' technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills through drills and assessments. Successful players will join the championship-winning squad to form a formidable team for upcoming international competitions.This initiative highlights the GFA’s commitment to advancing women’s football and nurturing the next generation of female football stars in Ghana.
