Ibrahim Osman unfazed by competition for position at Brighton

Ghana forward Ibrahim Osman says he is ready to learn from the senior players at Brighton including Kaoru Mitoma despite competing for places with the Japanese and other wingers.Osman was unveiled as Brighton's newest acquisition after signing a five-year deal to join the Seagulls from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.The 19-year-old will face competition from Mitoma, Solly March, Simon Adingra and fellow summer arrival Yankuba Minteh for a place in the starting line-up.However, the teen sensation believes his versatility will be at his advantage on match days."My focus is to try and learn as much as possible in this squad and also with the older guys here to try and learn from them. And also I know myself, I don't depend on one position. I can play as a right winger, up front and on the left wing, so I'm happy I can play all these positions," he said.Osman joined his new teammates for pre-season this week and will travel with the team to Japan to continue preparations ahead of his debut season in the English Premier League.
