Yusif Basigi appointed new Samartex Ladies' Technical Director

Samartex Ladies have appointed Yusif Basigi as their new Technical Director, signing the former Hasaacas Ladies and Black Queens coach on a long-term deal.The club hailed Basigi’s arrival as a key move to bolster the technical leadership of the team and enhance their performances in the ongoing campaign."We’re extremely delighted to announce experienced tactician, Yusif Basigi, as our new Technical Director, marking a significant step in strengthening the technical leadership of the team," the club said in a statement.Basigi, widely recognized as one of Ghana’s most accomplished figures in women’s football, brings extensive experience at both club and international levels.His career highlights include coaching roles with the Black Queens, Black Princesses, Hasaacas Ladies, and Tanzania’s Simba Queens, earning praise for his tactical insight and player development.Currently sitting 8th in the Zone Two Women’s League with seven points, Samartex Ladies will be counting on Basigi’s expertise to steady the team and drive a climb up the standings as the season unfolds.
