Douglas promises more to come

Holland High School standout Shanoya Douglas says there is much more to come from her even after a spectacular performance at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium. Douglas firmly announced herself as one of the country’s top junior sprinters after smashing the national Under-20 200m record with a brilliant 22.36-second clocking in the girls’ Class 1 final yesterday. The 18-year-old Douglas erased the previous mark of 22.50 set by Briana Williams when she captured the World Under-20 sprint double in 2018.
