Fire leaves several homeless in Craig Town
Several houses and a bar were destroyed in a fire in Craig Town, St Andrew on Sunday afternoon. The blaze occurred at a yard located at the intersection of Union and Jamaica streets in the community. Reports are that the fire started about 3:15 p.m., with residents noticing thick smoke coming from one of the buildings before flames quickly spread to nearby structures. Three units from the Jamaica Fire Brigade responded to the scene and worked to contain the inferno.
