Young Reggae Girlz off the mark

Jamaica's Under-17 Reggae Girlz secured their first win of the Concacaf Women’s U-17 Group D World Cup qualifiers in Aruba on Tuesday, with a 2-0 win over the hosts at the Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad. Goals from Riquanna Richards (46th) and Elizabeth Miller (63rd) gave the Girlz three points to claim second spot in the group. The young Girlz dominated possession in the first half and had some good efforts on goal. However, their best opportunity fell to Richards, who lobbed the goalkeeper but her effort fell wide of the mark.
