KC dominate javelin open at King of the Ring

Kingston College swept the top three places in the javelin open at last Saturday’s King of the Ring throwing meet at Excelsior High School, as top teams vying for the title at next month’s ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships revved up their preparation in the field events. Joel Clement picked up the win for the North Street-based team after throwing 54.39m, as teammates Kimari Smith (51.98m) and Tavar Gordon (49.48m) finished second and third, respectively.
