Stakeholders in the reggae music industry are being urged to reaffirm the genre’s message-driven foundation, which is “essential to its role in national healing”. The outspoken senior pastor at Fellowship Tabernacle in Kingston, Reverend Al Miller, made the call at the annual Reggae Month Church Service, held earlier this month and organised by the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport through the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission.
