Reynolds: I felt good to be a part of this

Assistant coach Vassell Reynolds said Jamaica’s qualification for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup is a historic achievement that has brought pride not only to the team but to the entire nation. The young Reggae Boyz secured the country’s third appearance at the global showpiece after defeating Canada 3-1 in their decisive Group G encounter at the Costa Rica Football Federation field on Wednesday. The result ended a 15-year wait for Jamaica to return to a junior World Cup. Reynolds, along with some members of the team, arrived on the island yesterday.
