A short editorial by Mel Rothenburger. ONCE AGAIN, Mayor Reid Hamer-Jackson is left out of a photo of ‘Kamloops council.’ The above image showed up on my X/ Twitter today showing eight smiling councillors in front of City Hall. Where’s the mayor? Was he not available? Was he simply left out? Either way, it doesn’t matter. His absence is so obvious that the photo’s message is hardly subtle: “here we are, eight happy councillors getting the job done without the mayor.” Shameful. When will they stop?
