Kingston Police investigating robbery attempt over the weekend

Kingston Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed an attempted robbery which occurred on Saturday February 22, 2025. At approximately 5:30 p.m. the victim was walking east bound on Union Street in the area of University Avenue when she was approached from behind by two suspects who grabbed onto her purse. A struggle ensued and the victim began to yell for help and for the suspects to stop. One of the suspects was able to pull the victims purse away from her and run off with it.
