Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee is recommending an amendment to the city’s official plan that could pave the way for residential fourplexes. The resolution, approved at the committee’s monthly meeting on Monday, is asking for an increase in the number of Accessory Dwelling Units to a maximum of three, resulting in a total of four units (i.e., one main unit and three accessory units or ‘four units as of right’).
