Belleville firefighters battle house fire on Old Highway 2

Belleville firefighters are battling a house fire on Old Highway 2. Crews responded to a house fire near Grass Blvd. after 8 p.m. on Monday night. Reports indicate the house was engulfed in flames when emergency responders arrived on scene and black smoke was visible in the area. "Crews arrived on the scene to heavy fire conditions," Deputy Fire Chief Mark Shannon explained.
