Golden Hawks take out Blades, secure #1 seed in East Conference

The Trenton Golden Hawks continue to surge towards the Buckland Cup Playoffs with another victory. Trenton grinded out a 4-2 victory over the Oakville Blades on Wednesday afternoon, after losing a 2-0 lead in the third period. Thomas Kuipers provided the winner with less than seven minutes to play in the third. Aaron Brown (6th of the season), Joey Brehmer (11th) and Taeo Artichuk (28) rounded out Trenton’s scoring. Eight other players had one assist, including Spencer Hughes, Jaxon Broda, Mason Landry, Jonathon Pylypuik, David Fournier, Matt Souliere, Nathan Taylor and Dylan Woulds.
