Beyond the Headlines - Salute to our heroes fighting wildfires

In a time of crisis, we witness the remarkable courage and dedication of those who serve on the front lines.  As wildfires rage across most provinces and in recent days here in southern Ontario, I'd like to extend my gratitude to the men and women fighting the flames. It's been an extremely hot and dry summer with little rain making it even more challenging for firefighting efforts. Our firefighters, Canadian Armed Forces, Ministry of Natural Resources, Canadian Red Cross and many others have been working tirelessly around the clock to protect communities and assist those forced to flee their homes....
