Belleville Council ready to discuss fee waiver, parking Monday

Belleville Council will consider providing some financial relief to Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Hastings at its meeting on Monday. A partial building permit fee waiver of $200,000 from the federal Housing Accelerator Fund is on the table to support the development of 66 residential units on 93 Dundas Street East. A daycare centre will also be part of the project. The conditional building permit fee for this project is estimated to be $225,000.
