Northumberland OPP have laid charges in connection with two separate and unrelated theft investigations. On September 13, 2025, police received a report regarding the theft of photography equipment from a residence on Rutherford Road in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand. The items were believed to have been stolen by a family member. Following an investigation, officers arrested one individual the following day.
