Dangote Refinery begins free fuel delivery

WorldStage– Dangote Refinery has begun free fuel deliveries to independent petroleum marketers across Nigeria, using a newly deployed fleet of compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered trucks. The move, according to the Refinery, is designed to cut logistics costs and create room for lower pump prices nationwide. WorldStage gathered that the refinery’s trucks started discharging products at multiple locations on Friday, with members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) confirming the deliveries came at no cost as part of Dangote’s direct-to-station distribution strategy.
