Pair of thefts in Belleville Tuesday

Belleville Police dealt with a pair of thefts on Tuesday and are seeking the public's assistance in finding information and suspects. Just after 10 a.m., officers responded to the report of an e-bike theft on Village Dr. The e-bike, red in colour, had reportedly been stolen from outside a residence sometime overnight. Then around 11:15 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a call at a business on Sidney St. regarding another theft. It was reported from the scene that unknown suspects entered the work yard and stole copper wire and work equipment sometime over the weekend. Investigations into both of these thefts are ongoing....
