Big payment from OLG to Belleville

The City of Belleville put Shorelines Casino and its contributions to the area front and centre on Wednesday. Belleville officials received a cheque worth $3.52 million from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation at City Hall. That total represents the entire payment to the city in the 2024 fiscal year. The money is granted back into the community to help organizations who rely on grant funding. The funds have also been used for infrastructure projects and doctor recruitment....
