As the NSW Government prepares to roll out major rental law reforms from 19 May — including the end of no-grounds evictions — many in the real estate industry are raising concerns about how the changes will play out in practice. One of them is Nick Countouris, Principal of Richardson & Wrench Pyrmont, who says that while the reforms are well-intentioned, they may open the door for a small number of tenants to manipulate the system, leaving landlords and property managers exposed.
