A Belleville man was arrested on assault charges after a family dispute escalated over the weekend. Saturday night at 6:14pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end for the report of a family dispute. Upon arrival, police spoke to the involved parties and were told that a 37-year-old Belleville man had physically assaulted his mother and grandmother. As a result, he was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and held for a bail hearing. No name was released....
