Belleville Salvation Army Kettle Campaign nearing goal

A key seasonal fundraising campaign is very close to achieving their target. Officials with the Belleville Salvation Army say their Kettle Campaign has now raised 353-thousand dollars. The target for the campaign, which wraps up on Friday, was 365-thousand dollars. However, they saved (didn't spend) $10,000 on postage as part of their mail campaign (because of the postal strike), so they are actually only $2,000 off the mark.
