Belleville police report: fraudulent credit card purchases; speeding

Belleville police charged a 42-year-old man for allegedly making fraudulent credit card purchases. Belleville Police were called to two stores downtown on Monday for reports of a male making purchases with a stolen credit card. Police obtained a description and later in the afternoon arrested a man without incident. Nathan Jacobs of no fixed address was charged with two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and breach of probation.   He was released on an undertaking with a court date in February.  In an unrelated matter, city police charged a 30-year-old Picton man with speeding and driving while suspended....
