Old Highway 2 reopens following fatal crash near CFB Trenton

Old Highway 2 has reopened near CFB Trenton after it was closed for several hours following a fatal head-on collision Tuesday afternoon. Quinte West OPP, Firefighters and Hastings Quinte Paramedics responded to Old Highway 2 by Quinte View Drive around 3:45 pm. Officials say there was a head-on collision between a large truck and a car. One driver was pronounced deceased at scene. A passenger from the same vehicle was pronounced deceased after being transported to hospital. The second driver was transported to hospital with unknown injuries. Old Highway 2 was closed between RCAF Road and Whites Road for several hours.  It reopened around...
