Belleville preparing to expand hybrid transit fleet

Officials with the City of Belleville say they are looking forward to adding three new hybrid electric buses to the city's transit fleet in the near future. Last year, Belleville announced that along with the federal and provincial government, the city would be investing in upgrades to Belleville Transit which included four new hybrid buses. One of the buses has been in service since last April. The next three are now on their way down the production line. An announcement is expected in the near future as to when they will arrive and be added to the fleet....
