LETTER – ‘Crossing personal boundaries’ needs to be explained

Re: LETTER –  How to have one less distraction at Kamloops City Hall I believe this letter speaks to what many Kamloopsians are asking, especially those taxpayers mandated to pay the mounting legal expenses related to this unexplained, damaging comment made in council chambers by Coun. Neustaeter. Her lack of transparency and openness to correct any false interpretations and actually inform the public what “crossing personal boundaries” means to her has contributed greatly to the ongoing dysfunction at City Hall. This personal accusation has been left open to a variety of interpretations and was clearly intended to discredit the mayor.  Coun. Neustaeter must be aware of some of the interpretations the mayor has had to endure. Not only has this unclear and ambiguous comment created further division at City Hall, it has led to the mayor being suspected of being of questionable character and has led to some embarrassing and humiliating comments from certain abusive members of the public who have chosen to believe the worst-case scenario.
