Ontario Investing $75,000 in Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini Algonquin First Nation

The Ontario government is investing $75,000 to help Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini Algonquin First Nation install solar lights, cultural and wayfinding signs, and wireless trail cameras at key Eagles Nest trail access points to make the trail (in the L' Amable area) safer. The funding is being delivered through the Indigenous Transportation Initiatives Fund (ITIF) which helps support community-driven transportation-related projects for Indigenous communities and Indigenous people in urban and rural locations across the province. “We are so fortunate to have partnered with Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini Algonquin First Nation, to improve the access and safety of the trails at the Eagles...
