Backpack program returns to help families in need prepare for student success

As many students are gearing up for the end of the school year, a local charity is working to ensure they are set up for success when classes return in the fall. Registration is open for the United Way Hastings and Prince Edward's Backpacks for Success program.  Families can sign up until July 5 or while supplies last. Kaitlyn Lalonde, Director of Community Impact at United Way HPE said they are "super excited" to have the program back this year.
