Beyond the Headlines - Day of Caring

Helen Dyer famously said that "volunteerism is the voice of the people put into action.  These actions shape and mold the present into a future of which we can all be proud.” Fitting, as United Way of Hastings Prince Edward gets set to mobilize a record-breaking 345 volunteers from 36 workplaces for the Day of Caring on Thursday. These workplace volunteers will come together to complete some much-needed work at not-for-profits in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County and Central Hastings.
