Belleville native drafted to the Calgary Flames

A Belleville resident has been drafted to the Calgary Flames. 20-year-old forward Trevor HOSKIN from Belleville was picked 106th overall in the fourth round after recording 100 points in 52 OJHL games with the Cobourg Cougars last season. He is set to attend Niagara University this fall and was the OJHL Most Valuable Player and the Canadian Junior Hockey League Top Forward. He was also awarded the Tournament MVP Award at the World Junior A Challenge with Team Canada East. Hoskin was a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils Triple-A program. ...
