Two Quinte residents named Order Of Canada members

 The newest members of the Order of Canada for this month have been named and include two residents of Quinte. Judy Kent of Picton was recognized for being the first woman to serve as both president of Commonwealth Sport Canada and Canada's chef de mission for the Commonwealth Games. She also wrote a seminal paper on sport for international development that was the framework for the creation of the SportWORKS program.
