Community members request action on protecting ‘unhoused’ in Bancroft

If unhoused people in the Bancroft area aren’t able to get out of the cold, it will cause a vicious cycle of hardship in the future. That was the statement from Deborah Jeffrey and Sherry Marcotte, Community Volunteers for Weekend Meals for the Unhoused North Hastings, as they asked Hastings County Council to consider an expansion of warming/cooling centre services.
