Trenton’s Woodcock on National Women’s U20 Rugby squad heading to Wales

Canada’s National U20 Women’s 15s Rugby team has some local representation. Trenton resident Halle Woodcock is one of 32 players from coast to coast who made a squad that is heading to Wales next week for the Transatlantic Quad Series. Woodcock made the team through her participation in the 2023 Canadian Rugby Championships in BC as well as her performance during the 2024 USports 7s Nationals in Montreal.  Rugby Canada subsidizes as much of the trip as possible, but the tour comes with a price tag of $4,500 and lasts three weeks, which required Woodcock to run a successful GoFundMe account...
