Member of Skyhawks Parachute Team injured in Ottawa performance

A member of the Skyhawks Parachute Team (which is based out of CFB Trenton) was injured in Ottawa on Canada Day. During a performance at Capital Hill, a parachuter crashed into the ground at a high rate of speed shortly after 3 pm. Reports from the scene said the person's injuries were serious but not life-threatening. The identity of the SkyHawks member is not being released out of respect for their privacy. The SkyHawks are known for their dazzling aerial performances at many high-profile events. The team had just performed the previous day at the Quinte International AIr Show at CFB...
