Belleville man arrested in connection with thefts from vehicles in Tweed

A Belleville man has been arrested in connection with an investigation into items stolen from a number of vehicles in the Tweed area. Officers were called to Stoco Road just after 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, after a suspicious person was reported to be in the area. They located an individual in the area who matched the description given. The male was arrested, and a search located numerous items which appeared to have been taken from multiple vehicles, including pairs of sunglasses, colognes, cosmetics and cell phone charges.
