Man pleads guilty to arson, sentence handed down in Thrasher’s fire

A man involved in the Thrasher's Garden Centre fire from around this time last year has pleaded guilty to arson and has received his sentence.  52-year-old David Robertson made his plea in front of Justice John Bonn at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse on Wednesday. Justice Bonn sentenced him to one day in prison in addition to the equivalent of 18 months in custody for the just shy of a year he’d been in custody. He was also placed on probation for three years.
