Todd Smith to start new private sector role on September 3rd

It's going to be a busy couple of weeks for former Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith, as he prepares to enter the private sector. Smith has confirmed that he will be starting his new role on September 3rd, (the day after Labour Day), and while he wouldn't reveal the company yet, he says it's definitely in his "wheelhouse". Smith was the Minister of Energy for 3 years and MPP for 13 before announcing Friday he was resigning his seat "effective immediately" after being named Minister of Education in a cabinet shuffle in early June.
